Information on the website

We take care to keep descriptions of destinations, trips and stories accurate and up to date. Programmes shown are examples and may change; the final itinerary, services, price and conditions are always confirmed in a personal written offer. Photographs are illustrative.

Enquiries, offers and booking

Sending an enquiry is free and non-binding and does not constitute a booking. A booking is made when you accept our written offer, sign the travel contract and pay the deposit. The General Travel Conditions of Golden Tours d.o.o. (available in our offices and on goldentours.ba) form an integral part of every contract; the summary below is for information only.

Payment

• Deposit: 50% of the price on booking, unless agreed otherwise.
• Balance: no later than 15 days before departure.
• Payment in cash at our offices, by bank transfer, by card (POS) or by SWIFT transfer from abroad.

What the price includes

The price includes the services listed in the offer (as a rule transport and accommodation) and the organisation of the trip. Unless the offer states otherwise, it does not include airport and port taxes, local guides, optional excursions, entrance fees, visas, travel and luggage insurance, trip cancellation insurance, single room supplements or extra meals.

Cancellation by the traveller

You can cancel in writing at any time. For trips within Europe the cancellation fee is calculated on the total price as follows:
- 61 or more days before departure: 5% (at least 30 KM per person)
- 45-60 days: 10%
- 30-44 days: 30%
- 20-29 days: 50%
- 10-19 days: 80%
- 6-9 days: 90%
- 0-5 days or no-show: 100%

Different scales apply to cruises and intercontinental trips and are stated in the General Travel Conditions and the offer. If you cancel for serious health reasons supported by medical documentation, you pay only the costs actually incurred. We recommend taking out trip cancellation insurance.

Changes and cancellation by the organiser

If the minimum number of travellers is not reached, we may cancel the trip no later than 5 days before departure and refund all payments in full. In the event of force majeure (e.g. a pandemic, border closures, war) we offer a replacement trip or a refund in accordance with the General Travel Conditions.

Travel documents and insurance

Every traveller must have a valid passport (as a rule valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip) and the visas and other documents required by the destination country, and is responsible for obtaining them on time. Health and luggage insurance are not included in the price; we can arrange them for you.

Complaints

Report any shortcoming immediately on the spot to the guide or our representative so that it can be remedied. A written complaint can be submitted within 8 days of the end of the trip, or within 14 days of discovering the shortcoming, at our offices or by email. We reply in writing within 8 days.

Newsletter

You subscribe to the newsletter voluntarily and confirm it by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter.

Intellectual property

Texts, photographs, logos and design on this website belong to Golden Tours d.o.o. / Balkora or its partners and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the website available and error-free, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages resulting from the use of the website. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Personal data, law and disputes

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. The laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina apply to these terms; we will try to resolve any dispute amicably, failing which the competent court in Tuzla has jurisdiction. For any questions, contact us via the Contact page.
