Kopaonik is the largest and best-known ski resort in Serbia, located in the national park of the same name. Its highest peak, Pančić's Peak, reaches 2,017 metres. The mountain offers more than 55 kilometres of groomed runs for beginners and advanced skiers alike. A modern system of lifts and snow cannons allows safe and long-lasting skiing.
Kopaonik is known for its many sunny days, which is why it is often called the "Sunny Mountain". In summer it becomes popular for hiking, cycling and paragliding. The national park is rich in endemic plants and rare bird species.
