Trebević is the mountain that rises above Sarajevo and a favourite getaway for locals. Its highest peak reaches 1,629 metres and offers spectacular views of the city. Trebević was one of the venues of the 1984 Winter Olympics. Today it is connected to Sarajevo by cable car, making access quick and easy.

The mountain offers marked hiking and cycling trails all year round. Its slopes preserve the remains of the Olympic bobsled track, now a popular spot for walks and cycling. Several restaurants on the mountain serve homemade specialities with views over the city.

In winter Trebević is a favourite place for walks in the snow. In summer it offers an escape from the city bustle and plenty of fresh air. Trebević is ideal for family outings, romantic walks and active holidays. It is a true green gem above Sarajevo.
